For decades the TV program had interfaced with many of the record labels, top radio stations, & events in the greater Boston region, covering their international concerts, festivals, and conferences including KISS 108 FM, MIX 98.5 FM (i.e. MIX 104.1 FM), WJM'N 94.5 FM, Boston Music Awards, NEMO Music Showcase & Conference, Sony Music Entertainment/EPIC Records, Atlantic Records to bring you great 1 on 1 interviews, and live performance footage of international performing artists known worldwide. Not withstanding, the program also introduced you to a host of local artists new to the scene as well, many whom rehearsed at the Music Mill Rehearsal Complex. The program had brought you the business of doing music right here in New England! The Music Mill SOURCE began as a (30) min. cable television program seen in New England whose main purpose was to barter by way of cross promotion with all stake holders in the New England music industry. The series was a not-for-profit extension of the Music Mill Rehearsal Complex using it's decades of industry experience which enabled radio stations, record labels, promoters, artists to reach a larger audience. In return the Music Mill Rehearsal Complex was given access to "A" list artists who spoke about their careers, highs and lows as they climbed the ladders of success, all while educating the public as well. Many of the original episodes can be watched online as the classic series which unique format dealt with how the New England music industry worked when the shows were originally cablecast. Two programs that gained notoriety were "Artist Management" & "What Makes A Great Song". With an industry that is constantly changing, these shows marked moments in time with the music, technology, and artists of the day. Music Mill Rehearsal Complex has been around for so long, that it seems like Music Mill had grown up with these artists and watched them blossom into music success stories, or ride off into the sunset leaving only their music and images as their legacy.
